Our holiday apartments, which are equipped with everything you might need during your stay, offer enough space to relax and unwind for all those who want to be independent when on holiday. In the kitchen area, you can prepare whatever you want and enjoy it on the balcony with a nice view and with the splash of the river Passer in the background, which is only a few metres away from the house. After an exciting day in the surroundings of the thermal city, you will happily return to your holiday apartment. And who needs to cool down a little, can do that in our swimming pool from May to October. Sun loungers to tan and enjoy the sun are waiting for you, too.
Who stays with us, doesn’t even need a car to explore Meran: With a 10 minutes’ walk, following a beautiful path, you can reach the city centre of Meran, where many nice shops, cafés, and restaurants are waiting for your visit. Also, the famous thermal bath of Meran can easily be reached on foot. A day filled with relaxation in the thermal city’s water shouldn’t be missed.
But also outside of the city centre, Meran has a lot to offer. During the warm season, you can go cycling, hiking, walking, and explore the beautiful South Tyrolean nature starting directly from your holiday apartment. The environs of Meran offer many possibilities for activities, too: easy walks on the Waalweg paths, more demanding hikes to reach the high mountain peaks, mountain bike tours on bumpy mountain and forest roads, and curvy pass streets for the road bike. No matter if you are looking for some relaxed time outdoors or for adventurous sports activities - everybody will have a great time in Meran. And for days without sports, the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are not far away: You cannot miss this floral splendour and plant diversity! In winter, on the other hand, the skiing area Meran 2000 is nearby: here, you can spend beautiful days on the slopes or tobogganing.

The thermal city of Meran has a lot to offer also during winter: Who visits us around Christmas, needs to pay a visit to the idyllic Christmas market alongside the Cure Promenade. Be enchanted by the small huts and enjoy a hot drink or a traditional delicacy while looking for souvenirs. The winter sports enthusiasts can experience a lot in the surroundings of Meran, too. The valley station of the skiing area Meran 2000 with many kilometres of slopes and guaranteed snow fun is only 4 kilometres away from our holiday apartments. Furthermore, in the environs, there are many possibilities for winter hikes. Of course, a relaxed day at the thermal bath is a good idea in winter as well. Your holiday at Lazag holiday apartments
Meran, surrounded by mountains and valleys, is one of the sunniest places in South Tyrol. The popular thermal city is an idyllic holiday destination, because here Mediterranean flair meets an alpine landscape. The city is well connected to public transport and is also a famous starting point for many cycling tours through the valleys of Passeier, Vinschgau, and Unterland.
The Lazag holiday apartments are situated in the peaceful district of Untermais in Meran and are the perfect starting point for activities of all kinds. The apartments offer a private parking space and are located only 10 minutes on foot from the city centre with the famous thermal baths, which can be reached on a beautiful, Mediterranean promenade. Our holiday apartments are particularly ideal also for those who want to go cycling, because the cycling path to the Passeier valley starts directly behind the house.

By car
- Brenner (A22 Brenner highway, tolled) - Bozen (exit Bozen Süd) - MEBO (exit Meran)
- From the Reschen Pass following the state roads 40 + 38 - Meran / Ofenpass - Taufers in Münster - Glurns - Meran
By bus
The South Tyrol Express (April - October), FlixBus, or the Meran Land Express (March - October) take you to Meran and environs. Furthermore, there are different regular buses taking you from the train station in Meran to Obermais.
By train
South Tyrol can easily be reached by train. Train companies like ÖBB, DB, SBB, or the holiday Express take you to Meran. Lean back and enjoy the trip with a view of the beautiful landscape. From Bozen, Meran can be reached by connection train or bus. Furthermore, there are different regular buses taking you from the train station in Meran to Obermais.

For those of you arriving by bus or train, South Tyrol Transfer might be a good alternative to a regular bus or taxi: The connection shuttle takes you from the bus or train station to your accommodation in a convenient and stress-free way!
By plane
Around Bozen, there are different airports: Innsbruck, Munich, Verona, Milan, Venice, and so on. It is possible to fly directly to Bozen, too. From nearby airports, there are also airport transfers to Meran and environs, but Meran can easily be reached by train or bus, too.
